A.B. A man from Mexico – living in New Haven – working at NSA – Mon-Fri – 4-midnight – was a student before but moved to Washington state – has returned and would like a tutor – Level 4 .

L.C. A man in his 30’s from Peru – living in Waterford – working at National Sintered Alloys – has been in the U.S. for 3 years – works Sat., Sun., Mon. as a furnace operator – is available at NSA during his shift – 6pm – 6am – wants to be able to communicate with his bosses. Level 1

P.A.V.C. A woman in her 20’s from Colombia – living in Guilford – has been in the U.S. 1 year – works cleaning homes – does not drive – wants to be able to communicate – Level 1.

D.C. A man in his 20’s from Ecuador – living in Clinton for the past 1 years – was a student previously, but had to give up because of his work schedule – he now works in construction 5 days a week and is available on weekends fro tutoring – he needs English for work – he is available anytime on Saturday or Sunday – Level 1.

K. McC A man in his fifties – living in Killingworth – born in the U.S. – a high school grad – was in special ed all through school – needs help with reading comprehension – is embarrassed and shy about receiving help – was very embarrassed in his town library for interview – drives – unemployed at present because the place he was working closed down – reading around 5th – 6th grade level.

O.P. A man in his 20’s from Mexico – living in Deep River – working in construction – is available after 6 – prefers tutoring on Tuesday or Thursday – drives – needs to learn English – Level 1.

W.P. A woman in her 20;s from Thailand - working as an au pair in Killingworth – wants to improve her English – conversation, grammar, writing, spelling and reading – has been here approximately 6 weeks – is available any day from 7pm – 9 pm – she does drive and can get to the Madison or Killingworth libraries – will be in the U.S. for about a year – Level 3.

E.T. A woman from Mexico – in her 30’s - living in New Haven – working at National Sintred Alloys(6a-6p–Sun-Mon) - been in the U.S. 8 years – does not drive – would like to get a driver’s license – and become a citizen – her speaking is very good but sheneeds to learn to read and write – available Mon late afternoon/early evening at NSA – Level 2-3.
