The LVVS International Cookbook has arrived!

Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore, CT, Inc. hosts an annual International Potluck Dinner. This dinner serves as a gathering for our organization during which we celebrate our students. Not only do we celebrate the progress the students have made, but where the students come from. All attendees cook one of their favorite family dishes and bring it to share with the LVVS community. In doing this, we experience a world of different cuisine. Now, Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore is offering recipes for these dishes in a beautifully published, spiral bound cookbook. The book is conveniently divided by such regional offerings as Asian, European, Central American, South American, and Middle Eastern. Some of the recipes include Chinese Dumplings, Thai Spiced Chicken Salad, Cheese Blintzes, Manicotti, Enchilada Bake, Mexican Tortas, Biryani (Chicken, Rice, and Vegetable Casserole), Hummus Tahini, Codfish a Gomes Sa, Cider Mill Pork Roast, Turkey Shepherd's Pie and many, many more. This cookbook could be a great hostess gift, a gift for your favorite teacher, or the perfect last minute stocking stuffer for the chef in your family.
