Simply mention LVVS to your server and 15% of your lunch or dinner bill will be donated to Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore. This opportunity is only available February 9th, so make sure you mark you calendars and come down to enjoy some great great food while supporting LVVS. 5th Annual LLVS April Fool's Race The 5th annual April Fool's 5K/ 3K Walk and Backwards Mile is scheduled for Saturday, March 31. Mark your calendars and make sure you pre-register for this exciting event. Whether you enjoy running a 5K race, or taking a leisurely stroll on a nice day, you are certainly welcome at the LVVS April Fool's Race! If you are feeling particularly adventurous, you might even attempt the Backwards Mile! Register through Fast Track Timing or, print an application and mail it with entry fee to the LVVS Office at: LVVS office P.O. Box 1006 Westbrook, CT 06498 Be sure to hurry and register! As always, Literacy Volunteers is in need of volunteers and tutors. The fall session Tutor Training Program is just finishing. However, if you are interested in becoming a tutor, and were unable to make the fall session, a Spring 2012 session will be scheduled shortly. Please call the LVVS office for more information. Additionally, if you are interested in becoming an office volunteer, we would be delighted to have your assistance. Our office staff can always use an extra set of hands.
