Learning English through LVVS means to me that I can be available to fight for my rights because with my English I can say what I want and need to say. i said that because when my family came from Colombia to visit they bought many items, but some of those items they didn’t like them so they asked me to bring them to the stores. Then we went to the mall and we returned the items that they didn’t wanted and exchanged others for other sizes or colors. But in one of the stores they didn’t want to give me the money back because we didn’t have the boxes for the shoes, so we were really disapointed, and I started to read the receive and no where said about the boxes, so we went back to the store and I told them that I don’t see where it said in the receive that they not return money with out boxes. Also no body told us about that when we bought the shoes, so when I told them all these things they returned our money.
So learning English through LVVS means to me money, opportunities, and courage.
