Carlos was a premature boy. Thank God he grew up healthy. He became a great student. His mother was proud of him. He studied Computer and Accounting in high school He went to Guenca after graduation. His dream was to be admitted to the Catholic University. He got a scholarship for a seminary. Then very happy he called his mother to comment his achievements. He was completely devoted to his studies.

After intense pain in the stomach, Carlos was diagnosed with cancer. He was only 23 years old. He felt apart and terrified to communicate his mother. But he did it. The whole family gave him support. During his treatment he demonstrated strong faith in God. After four years of sickness, Carlos got worst. The doctors were afraid by the end of the year the worse would happen. Carlos gave encouragement to his family. He used to say the only one to give the final diagnosis is God and he is not going any where, because he had a mission with God. Three years went by. From time to time he sued to take breaks but continued his studies right away. That’s how he accomplished to finish his studies in Psychology. Right now he is working as a high school teacher and in the Military Hospital.

He continues studying Theology to become a priest. His fight against cancer has not finished. Good days and bad days, he stills going forward whithout losing faith in God.
