Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore, CT Inc. is always in need of volunteers.
All volunteers do not have to be tutors. There are many other capacities.
We are currently looking for members to serve on our Board of Directors.
We are seeking a new treasurer – the volunteer who is interested in this job
should have a financial background and should be comfortable working with payroll,
bookeeping and budget preparation. They would work closely with the finance committee.
Other volunteers are needed to work in our office. They provide coverage when our
paid staff are not present. They work on mailings, filing and other clerical jobs.
This can be a weekly, monthly or on call basis.
We are also in need of volunteers to work at our Book Sale.
These volunteers are needed on Friday afternoons. This also can be on a
weekly, monthly or on call basis.
